The paper deals with the historical and ethnographic business trip of the prominent Russian ethnographer L. P. Lashuk, at that time a senior researcher at the Komi Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences, in the summer of 1956 to the Storozhevsk and Kortkeros regions of the Komi ASSR. The text of L. P. Lashuk’s field notes made during this business trip is published for the first time. A brief summary of the scientist’s field trips during his work at the Komi Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences is given.
